Social and Communication

The social and communication committee promotes social interaction and communication to help strengthen the sense of community in Lake Forest. The committee organizes social activities, communicates with residents, welcomes new neighbors, disseminates subdivision information, and maintains homeowner contact information. We also coordinate the subdivision garage sale, which is held annually on the first Saturday in August. The following sections summarize the committee's activities and responsibilities.

New Homeowner Contact Activity

Gerry Auth tracks home sales throughout Lake Forest and confirms contact information for all new homeowners.

New Neighbor Welcome Program

When new neighbors move into Lake Forest, a welcome program volunteer greets them and delivers a welcome package with 2 Lake Forest logo mugs, a subdivision directory, and other important information. The committee needs a few more volunteers, especially during the summer. If you would be willing to greet new neighbors on your street or in another area of Lake Forest, please contact the committee chairperson.

Social Activities

The committee's ability to present social events and activities for the subdivision is entirely dependent upon volunteer involvement and leadership. If you have an event in mind and can volunteer to help organize and execute it, please contact the committee chairperson.
